Every year we celebrate the anniversary of Anchor Baptist Church in conjunction with our annual Faith Harbor Week conference. This year we are celebrating our twenty first anniversary. We remain committed to sharing the gospel to the people of Columbus and Franklin County through our local church ministries. We reach out to people abroad  by supporting missionaries in the foreign missionary fields. Please join us as we enter our third decade of serving the Lord.

I am pleased that you have decided to visit our church website. My wish is to show you who we are and what we do, so you can see what we have to offer you before you visit us in person. In a world of constant change, people seem to be in search of the unchanging. Anchor Baptist Church has much to offer any person or family, but I believe the greatest thing we have to offer is the security of knowing we will not be changing our direction, Bible standards, music or leadership after you have settled in.

You will learn as you browse this website, even though Anchor Baptist Church is only 20 years old, we are firmly established, settled , experienced and stand for fundamental Baptist beliefs.

I am the only pastor this church has ever known. In 1989, God called me to start this church with just my family of six and another family of four. We have seen our church grow and witnessed the salvation and baptism of thousands of people.

I sincerely hope that you will visit us one day soon, and experience the friendly atmosphere and hear the preaching of God's Word that is sure to stir your heart and lift your soul.
